Welcome to Yankovska School of Rhythmic Gymnastics
Yankovska School of Rhythmic Gymnastics was established in 2021 by Sasha Yankovska, a celebrated gymnast with a passion for the sport.
Located in the heart of Nanaimo, BC, we pride ourselves on having custom-made gymnastics equipment, ensuring a safe, professional, and enjoyable training environment for all our athletes.

Sasha Yankovska
Sasha Yankovska began her gymnastics career at age 5 and trained at the Olympic Reserve School. She is a multiple prize-winner and champion of international tournaments, achieving the title of Master of Sports of Ukraine by age 16.
Since starting her coaching career in Canada in 2012, Sasha has been dedicated to passing on her extensive knowledge and passion for rhythmic gymnastics to young athletes.

Little Stars
A fun and playful introduction to rhythmic gymnastics for ages 3–5, building coordination, flexibility, musicality and confidence. Perform in our Annual Winter and Summer Shows.

Recreational Program
Introducing basic techniques and apparatus in a fun, engaging way. Perform at home events like Christmas and Summer Shows.

Beginners Program
A fun introduction to rhythmic gymnastics and choreography, fostering hand-eye coordination, flexibility, and strength.

Bridging the gap between recreational and competitive levels, focusing on a variety of skills and performing at multiple events.

Advanced techniques and competitions at local, regional, national, and international levels, with scholarship opportunities for high achievers.
